Experienced and Certified Teacher

Welcome to the web site of an experienced educator who has a reputation for being dedicated and resourceful when working for his students and audiences.  In his university classes and lectures, he is known as Professor Rosenfeld, but when he tutors one-on-one or in small groups he is typically known by his first name of Jordan when teaching English and Yehudah when teaching Hebrew.  His extensive experience as a tutor and teacher began before he finished college at University of Pennsylvania where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Urban Studies.  In his senior year of college, he was recruited to teach Hebrew and Judaic Studies to elementary school aged children in a local religious school and he has been working in education almost consistently ever since.

Professor Rosenfeld obtained a Certification in Social Studies Education from New York State and taught Global Studies and American History and Government to middle school and high school students.  Because of his broad knowledge in the Humanities, Jordan Rosenfeld has also taught English and Writing to students of all ages, including to foreign students who are seeking to improve their grammar, sentence structure, pronounciation and writing skills.  He has also helped prepare students to take standardized tests such as the SAT and ACT and to compose written parts of their college  applications.  In recent years, local adult education programs have sought Yehudah Rosenfeld out to teach Conversational Hebrew classes and other classes on Jewish history and Israeli culture.

If you, your community, or your organization is searching for a committed educator or lecturer, I would be delighted to discuss how my skills and experiences could be relevant for you.  As a teacher and tutor, I provide enrichment to advanced students and help struggling students to achieve greater academic success.  As a lecturer and program organizer, I provide my audiences with necessary contextual information and a multi-faceted perspective about various topics in ways that provide a balance between education and entertainment.
